Canadian Rocky Mountains: Shelley, as you know is
a Canadian gal and she has been just dying to share her experiences
growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta and British Columbia. This
month we will be traveling the great Canadian Triangle, not the Bermuda
Triangle. Starting in Calgary, home of the world's largest and best
known rodeo The Calgary Stampede, up the road just a bit to Banff Rocky
Mountain National Park, north along the Continental Divide past glaciers
you can walk on, to Jasper National Park and west over the Rockies to
Whistler, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics and then to Canada's San
Francisco, the lovely city of Vancouver. Check out our November 2006
e-zine to find out about grand old hotels,
dozens of ski lodges, Native Art/Sculpture and the lure of the Canadian
Rockies. It is close, but a world away.
